Frank Workman was an alumnus of Bob Jones University and was in the Gospel preaching ministry since 1961. His servant heart served as a model example of a New Testament assistant pastor. Saved in his junior year of high school, he surrendered to God’s will early in his life. His godly character, wisdom and discernment were a blessing to many. He had served churches in Michigan, Minnesota and Ohio and his reputation as a loyal assistant echoed throughout fundamentalism. He and his wife, Laura, came to Troy Baptist Temple with both their children, Doug and Beth, in August of 1988, where he faithfully served until his home-going. Pastor Workman and his family ministered for the Lord and to the people of TBT and he was a tremendous blessing to Pastor as he assisted in teaching, preaching and visiting. Throughout his years of faithful ministry, he has always enjoyed his family, his grandson, and his church family.
